Descrição da Vaga: DESCRIPTIONWork on the Brazil Payments team to enable a wide range of payment options for Amazon customers in Brazil
Develop new payment integrations and enhance existing payment flows to improve the customer experience
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and other engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable payment solutions
Mentor junior engineers and continuously improve engineering practices and standardsKey job responsibilities
– Integrate new payment methods (e.g. local credit/debit cards, digital wallets, bank transfers) into the Amazon platform
– Enhance existing payment flows to optimize conversion, reduce friction, and improve reliability
– Ensure payment systems are highly available, secure, and able to handle growing transaction volumes
– Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to maintain quality
– Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical debtA day in the life
– Work closely with product managers to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions
– Collaborate with payment providers and other partners to onboard new payment methods
– Review code changes, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices
– Investigate and resolve production issues, working with the operations team to maintain high availability
– Participate in team meetings to discuss progress, blockers, and future plansAbout the team
