We build hope for everyone dealing with cancer.As the Head of Sales for South America, you will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy to retain and grow the current install base across these markets.This role will play a pivotal role in building and managing a high-performing Account Management and specialist sales teams, establishing strong and long-lasting customer relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.Acting as the face of Elekta, the Head of Sales will have executive presence with customers and internally.ResponsibilitiesDrive order, sales and profitability performanceResponsible for regional commercial operations and sales operationsCollaborate with commercial excellence leader and Head of Staff/Finance to drive GTM strategyPartner with regional Management team & BL´s, driving territory and segment strategy for region on order, sales and profitable performance & drive sales operations processes and mechanisms which support thisActively support GTM effectiveness across Direct, Indirect salesUtilize KPIs set control and maintain best class selling processes across Latam´s South Region and CaribeLead tender and offer activities which include proposal; management contract creation, T&C, Quote support and order bookings and cancellationsOwn sales operations including backlog health, order changesBeing the integrator (voice and escalation point for critical needs, optimizing cross functional tools, process improvements, an deployments to ensure sales process is working optimally drive culture of collaboration, leveraging best practices’Simplification and process improvement – working with internal and external stake holders and customers, particularly ensuring GTM toolsBe a role model for business cultureDrive sales force effectivenessBusiness analytics, Lifecycle and commercial development expertiseProvide leadership across team to develop strong business analytics to improve better funnel quality, assist with Win/ Loss takeaways and action, foster IB Completion intelligence, drive hit rate and identification of KPI to drive meaningful actions for sales and profitabilityIdentify opportunities to improve visibility, win rate across BLs and zonesDevelop and maintain critical relationship with key contacts and C Suite (deal structuring, order management) to improve sales team efficiency,Coach team to utilize CRM and CPQ requirements.Ensure data accuracy and quality promotedMaintain, implement, and expand business relationships with industry strategic partners ie GEHC/Philips, etc.Team Management and Collaboration:Ensure the correct skills and resources are in place and retained within the teams with continual development a focusDemonstrate effective leadership behaviors and ensure that all direct reports have clear guidance on expectations on their behaviors in their rolesEnsure that regular performance and coaching meeting take place with all direct reports and where necessary ensure that any corrective actions are commencedManage the selection, termination, development, measurement, motivation and compensation of direct reporting employeesEnsure that employee productivity and morale are at high levelsEnsure through effective management of direct reports, all employees have a meaningful annual performance planning and evaluation meeting where development activities are discussed, documented and acted upon within a timely manner in line with Elekta Group policiesCollaborate and promote a collaborative and results-driven culture with colleagues both inside and outside of the Sales organisationCommunicate and ensure compliance with Elekta’s Code of Conduct.Communicate regularly with leadership, providing updates on sales performance and market trends.Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by the VP Latin AmericaWhat you bringBachelors degree in business, science, engineering technology / MBA preferredSix Sigma r Black belt/ Master Black Belt preferredStrong business acumenSolid experience on operations and commercial processesExperience in building and leading complex and large professional teamsAbility to influence and collaborate with senior level management]Experience leading managing projects of various sizes and scopeExecutive level presentation skillsCoaching and mentoringAction and result orientsUnderstanding financial dataWhat you’ll getIn this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for everyone dealing with cancer, and for everyone regardless of where in the world, to have access to the best cancer care.
