Descrição da Vaga: Job Description:The Senior Business Developer for Energy Consulting Services will develop new corporate clients across Brazil. This position will focus on selling consulting services for electricity procurement and migration to the free energy market, as well as gas scopes, to industries, data centers, and buildings requiring professional support to manage energy costs. This effort will involve identifying, prospecting, qualifying, and closing potential clients, being able to identify upsell opportunities for other Sustainability Business solutions.Responsibilities:

  • Identify prospects fitting Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business profile, with a focus on the Free Energy Market, and act as a true hunter, with proven ability to generate and track leads, contacting prospects and generating interest in Schneider’s offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs defined by the department, with a focus on continuous and sustainable client portfolio growth.
  • Communicate and interact with business decision-makers at all levels to identify needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop attractive and customized business proposals aligned with customer needs.
  • Participate in industry events and represent Schneider Electric as a reference in energy and sustainability solutions.
  • Implement best practices recommended by the manager and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the energy industry.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Engineering or Energy, as well as areas such as Climate Change, Corporate Sustainability, Economics, or Business.
  • Proven experience in corporate sales.
  • Strong experience in energy markets, as well as renewable energy acquisition strategies and free energy market execution.
  • Knowledge of the gas market will be considered a competitive advantage.
  • Proven track record of success in all elements of a consultative sales role, including lead generation, persistent lead follow-up, moving prospects through the sales cycle, interaction and presentation to all levels of management, and negotiating agreements with prospects.
  • Previous experience with complex sales cycles that can sometimes last 6 months or more and experience in senior-level sales (C-Level).
  • Advanced English proficiency required. Some fluency in Spanish is welcome and considered a plus.
  • Some travel required to support sales activity (approximately 10-30%).
