Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. About the role:The Credit Risk Senior Manager will be responsible for the credit policies, portfolio management, local regulatory requirements and vehicles residual value forecasting to attend retail different line of business that includes Auto Loan, Vehicles Rental Company and Consorcio. What you need:

  • 5 years of work experience leading teams on credit strategies and policies
  • Be analytical, organized, accurate and detail-oriented with fact-based discipline.
  • Manage team pipeline of work, along with taking responsibility to ensure risk and business priorities are met.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a changing environment and be purposeful and proactive, focusing on building new solutions
  • Experience in manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data
  • Solid knowledge of programming in SAS – (Python is a plus)
  • Experience in using credit scores and segmenting risk profiles by decision trees
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques (Desirable)
  • Familiar with IFRS9 and 4966 requirements on risk matters
  • A clear, structured, and concise communication skill with the ability to translate complex technical matters in executive summaries for senior management
  • Fluency in English

What you will be doing:

  • Perform annual and interim credit policies review to attend business’ risk appetite target
  • Develop credit strategies and engage closely with Operations, Product, Sales, IT and Decision Analytics teams as well as external vendors to ensure effective execution
  • Create, monitor, and analyze portfolio metrics, anticipating actions and communicating the findings to business and risk organization senior management
  • Liaising with risk teams across different countries to add insight or assist where necessary.
  • Discuss and validate statistical models such as credit scorecards development with Decision Analytics team.
  • Work with data, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting from different systems and sources.
  • Respond to ad hoc analytics requirements to support business and local regulatory requests.
  • Estimate credit losses to attend pricing strategies and local regulatory (IFRS9 and 4966).
  • Develop the team by sharing your experience and knowledge.
